Codex Helper Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Bot, you confirm your acceptance of these Terms and agree to be bound by them. If you are using the Bot on behalf of an organization, you are agreeing to these Terms for that organization and representing that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Access and Use of the Bot

• 2.1. Subscription Requirement: The Codex Helper bot requires an active Patreon subscription to access its features. Your subscription is tied to your individual Patreon account and linked Discord account.
• 2.2. Permissions: To function correctly, the Bot requires certain permissions within your Discord server, including, but not limited to, Administrator. You grant the Bot these permissions by inviting it to your server.
• 2.3. Server Administration: The Bot is intended for use by Discord server administrators or users with "Manage Server" permissions. You are responsible for the Bot's use within any server you manage.
• 2.4. Custom Commands: The Bot allows you to designate specific channels for command usage using /channel. You are responsible for configuring this feature appropriately to prevent spam or misuse in your server.
• 2.5. Age Restriction: You must be at least 13 years old to use Discord and, consequently, the Bot. By using the Bot, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

3. Intellectual Property

All content, information, data, and tools provided by the Codex Helper bot (including commander data, event guides, bundle information, talent trees, etc.) are the intellectual property of Ruz @ The King's Codex or its licensors. You may use this information for your personal or server-related informational purposes but may not redistribute, sell, or otherwise exploit it for commercial gain without explicit written permission.

4. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Bot:

• In any way that violates any applicable national, federal, state, local, or international law or regulation.
• To exploit, harm, or attempt to exploit or harm minors in any way by exposing them to inappropriate content or otherwise.
• To transmit, or procure the sending of, any advertising or promotional material without our prior written consent, including any "junk mail," "chain letter," "spam," or any other similar solicitation.
• To impersonate or attempt to impersonate Codex Helper, an employee, another user, or any other person or entity.
• To engage in any other conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the Bot, or which, as determined by us, may harm Codex Helper or users of the Bot, or expose them to liability.
• To interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Bot or the data contained therein.
• To attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Bot or its related systems or networks.
• To reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of the Bot.
• To use any automated means to access the Bot or collect any information from the Bot (including bots, spiders, or other automated devices or programs) unless expressly permitted by us.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE BOT IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. NEITHER Ruz @ The King's Codex NOR ANY PERSON ASSOCIATED WITH Codex Helper MAKES ANY WARRANTY OR REPRESENTATION WITH RESPECT TO THE COMPLETENESS, SECURITY, RELIABILITY, QUALITY, ACCURACY, OR AVAILABILITY OF THE BOT. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, NEITHER Ruz @ The King's Codex NOR ANYONE ASSOCIATED WITH Codex Helper REPRESENTS OR WARRANTS THAT THE BOT WILL BE ACCURATE, RELIABLE, ERROR-FREE, OR UNINTERRUPTED, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, THAT OUR SITE OR THE SERVER THAT MAKES IT AVAILABLE ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT THE BOT WILL OTHERWISE MEET YOUR NEEDS OR EXPECTATIONS.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PROVIDED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL Ruz @ The King's Codex, ITS AFFILIATES, OR THEIR LICENSORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OFFICERS, OR DIRECTORS BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE BOT, ANY WEBSITES LINKED TO IT, ANY CONTENT ON THE BOT OR SUCH OTHER WEBSITES, INCLUDING ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PERSONAL INJURY, PAIN AND SUFFERING, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS OR ANTICIPATED SAVINGS, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF GOODWILL, LOSS OF DATA, AND WHETHER CAUSED BY TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), BREACH OF CONTRACT, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF FORESEEABLE.

7. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Ruz @ The King's Codex, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Bot, including, but not limited to, any use of the Bot's content, services, and products other than as expressly authorized in these Terms.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Bot immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Bot will immediately cease.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Bot after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Melbourne.
